On Saturday last week we held a charity event at our gaff. It was a team event where our members took part in some horrendous metcons in order to raise money for the hyperbaric chamber. As you all know I have been visiting the chamber pretty much every day over the past few months to aid with my rehab. I cannot stress how great the staff and people who I see for one hour a day there are. There's plenty of jokes and I find inspiration from some of the people I see there everyday. They really are an incredible set of people who love life and that feeling is passed on everyday. Anyways we raised £310.50 and they were very grateful.
This weekend we are in Manchester as Erin is in the BWLA Lifting competition at Train Manchester. Really looking forward to watching her lift. We have worked hard since the LTD 2013 to bring her Oly Lifts up to scratch and she has worked hard and has really improved and is starting to put some good numbers up. Going away to competitions is hard when you can't compete as you can tell by my face here.....Ste Fawcett should be a model for Argos catalogue.
As you can see I am privileged to live an extraordinary life where everyday brings me awesome experiences. A good experience I come across whilst skeeting through pics was me and Ste Fawcett 11th Fittest human in Europe going head to head on a spicy clean, front squat and toes to bar WOD.
It's been a busy 2 weeks folks and I have a busy weekend ahead. Not much information this week into my progress but more a look into my life. I have needed to do this to realise that my life is pretty amazing, filled with amazing people everyday. Especially the daft girl who resembles a fire puppet from Labrinth. Next week I'll update how weekend has gone and fill you all in on where I am up to rehab wise as on Monday and Tuesday I am seeing Pro Funk and Cathy Tatlow. Until then.....
