ABOUT US

Located in Kirby Farm Industrial Estate, our 4500 sq ft facility offers the very best in CrossFit equipment, from rowers, bikes and ski ergs to barbells, bumpers, climbing ropes and sleds. We have 2 large functional rigs and plenty of floor space for you to train in.

With 8 coached sessions daily, you are sure to be able to find a session time to suit you. We thrive on community at CrossFit IOM and no matter what session you come to, you will find a friendly and inspiring atmosphere where everyone has the same goal – to get better!

We cater for any age (14+) and ability level so you are welcome to join regardless of your current fitness levels. It is the hard work and commitment that builds our community and we thrive on everyone growing together.

All of our workouts and scores are tracked and we have 7 years proven data to demonstrate the incredible progress of each and every one our members. After your session you can relax in our lounge area with a coffee or recovery shake.

We have clean and professionally maintained changing facilities with showers, hair dryers, GHD straighteners and selection of bathroom toiletries, all available for your use. Coach

Dan Bonett

Dan is a graduate and specializes in strength and conditioning. Dan is the programming expert for the gym and has helped every member achieve things they never thought possible. Dan also hosts seminars across Europe teaching coaches and athletes alike on how to get the most out of there training. Dan’s favorite movement is a power clean and favourite CrossFit benchmark workout is Cindy. Outside of the gym Dan is on a journey to be the strongest competitive 70.3 ironman athlete.

Erin Bonett

Erin has a degree in Sports Therapy and Physiotherapy along with her CrossFit level 1 and 2 certifications. After spending several years coaching CrossFit sessions, Erin now dedicates most of her time running be free PhysioFit, specialising in sports injuries and pre/post natal excercise. Erin’s physio background allows her to keep our members consistently building foundations. Erin’s favourite movement is a power clean and CrossFit benchmark is DT. Outside of coaching Erin is a high level competitive CrossFit athlete and a big name on the UK CrossFit scene.

Bronwen Kaneen

Bronwen or brappy, is a graduate Sports Therapist and has also completed a three year apprenticeship at CrossFit IOM in Strength & Conditioning. Bronwen excels at changing excercises in sessions to help rehabilitate injuries when necessary. Her favourite movement is the push jerk and CrossFit benchmark workout is Kelly. Outside of the gym Bronwen is a keen cyclist and podium finisher of the end to end.

Coach

Shaun Wylde

Shaaauuuuun has been with CrossFit IOM since the age of 14, where he came through our teens programme. Realizing his love for fitness, and later on Olympic weightlifting, Shaun completed his 3 year government accredited strength and conditioning programme with us. Shaun’s favourite movement is the snatch and CrossFit benchmark workout is Amanda. Shaun specializes in Olympic weightlifting and outside of coaching competes in this sport, winning the British under 21 championships in 2018.

Max Thomas

Maxy T has been a member of CrossFit for a number of years, gaining knowledge and experience from the other coaches and then completing his CrossFit certification in 2019. Max has a keen interest in all things fitness especially the endurance side of it. Max’s favorite movement is Bar MU and CrossFit benchmark workout is Annie. Outside of coaching max is a full time prison officer so knows how to keep a class in line.

Lukas Widomski

Lukas or “little Arnold” has been on the CrossFit scene a while, starting his journey in the Czech Republic and later moving to the island and CrossFit IOM. His passion for CrossFit led Lukas to complete his CrossFit certifications and join the CrossFit IOM coaching team. His favourite movement is the muscle up and his favorite benchmark workout is Diane. Outside of CrossFit Lukas runs a CrossFit competition scoreboard app.
